Main purpose of the job

The Payer & Provider Propositions team Lead overall purpose is to manage CarePay’s (new) services for healthcare provider(s) and healthcare payer(s), e.g., private insurers. These services are running on top of or next to CarePay’s core technology platform (M-TIBA).

Key services for healthcare payers include (not exhaustive):

  • Provider panel services, which means leveraging data to offer segmented provider panels and innovative pricing agreements to enable development of new, innovative insurance propositions.
  • Control tools and other services that optimize the claim adjudication flow and enable more fair medical costs
  • Risk monitoring & reporting tools for insurance products

Key services for healthcare providers include (not exhaustive):

  • Data insight dashboards
  • Administrative solutions for their healthcare products (e.g., capitation product)
  • Financial services

The team lead’s responsibility would be to successfully drive the design and implementation of these services, together with the team.

CarePay is a fast growing company, with an agile way of working. The Payer & Provider Propositions team has a high-paced environment where new propositions are designed, tested, implemented, further developed, and then scaled. Data is a key component of many propositions that the team manages & develops. The team is at the heart of CarePay’s activities and collaborates closely with CarePay’s customer success, business development, platform and operation teams.

Educational qualifications, knowledge and experience

  • Minimum of a Bachelor Degree (in Healthcare or Analytics is a plus, not mandatory)
  • At least 3-5 years relevant working experience. • Strong commercial feeling and understanding
  • A proven experience to build strong client relationships and maintain an excellent customer focus
  • Strong analytical & data analysis skills (SQL experience is a plus)
  • Creative problem solving and project management skills
  • Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • An understanding of confidentiality and data protection issues
  • Experience in an insurance/healthcare is a plus
  • Experience in strategy consulting is a plus
